Marloes, is a small tranquil village situated within the Pembrokeshire National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. The Marloes penninsula is surrounded by the spectacular Marles Sands (pictured above), Musslewick beach and Martins Haven from where the boats to Skomer Island, a haven for rare birds and seals, depart.
The Old Post Office,
a detached building, was built at the turn of the century,
with a further extension added more recently. Accommodation
consists of a four bedroomed house with secluded gardens,
and a one bedroom annexe with private patio area. Both have
been renovated to a high standard. Both available all year round and offseason can be rented for short stays. The house, or house plus annexe, is ideal
for a large or extended family or for a group of friends. The Annexe suits a couple or a small family with
child and/or baby. Offseason the annexe can be rented as self-catering B&B - guests cook/prepare a breakfast of their own choice - we provide the food.
Nearby attractions
include Skomer Island Nature Reserve, the picturesque and
lively Dale village, and a host of of beautiful beaches.
There are many things to do: watersports can be arranged at Dale, as well as trips to
Skomer and the other islands, horse riding on the beach
at Nolton, kayacking, diving, sailing, windsurfing, surfing, fishing, cycling and walking the coastal path. There are many arts and crafts exhibitions and venues.
A variety of interesting day trips; the historical city
of St Davids passing through Solva village, Narberth market
town and Tenby - to mention a few. For the younger visitors, local seal/bird spotting, a day trip to Folly Farm or Oakwood. |
